Mary Ann Patterson President of Front Burner, Inc. Mary Ann Patterson is president of Front Burner, Inc., a broad-based project management and consulting firm working with both for-profit and non-profit businesses. Utilizing her vast experience in advertising, marketing, public relations and program management, she helps her clients reach their business goals by creating infrastructure processes; managing existing programs or creating new ones when necessary; seeking out and developing relationships with symbiotic business partners or sponsors; and assisting with the marketing and public relations aspect of the business. She was most recently involved in expanding the Horticulture Gardening Institute’s partner/sponsor base (i.e. PlantFind and the Garden Centers of America), creating the current “Road Show” style event program, and writing the text for the new promotional program with Fine Gardening magazine. She produced the SMARTGARDEN® program with Chris Geith and Ray Rogers while serving as the Director of National Programs for the American Horticultural Society. In addition to the Society’s programs, Mary Ann was also directed the marketing and public relations over a period of 10 years. She was formerly in the fashion retail industry as a buyer and private-label clothing development director for several large department stores.
