About NCRS

Michigan State University (MSU) has launched a centrally supported web-based system for non-credit offerings. The non-credit registration system (NCRS) is a university-supported centralized e-commerce system that supports all non-credit products and services, including courses and instructional programs, seminars, workshops and other events, and related goods and services.

The non-credit registration system supports non-credit revenue generating activity and allows units and departments to enter all their own products and services. While training is currently required for departments, units will have full control of all their descriptions, students and access to reports. For potential students, the non-credit registration system allows users to browse through these non-credit products and services and provides the conveniences of online registration, online payments and instant access to online courses. MSU students and the general public can easily access NCRS. MSU Students and employees will simply enter their NetID and password, while the general public can create an MSU CommunityID to take advantage of course offerings.
