King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia is partnering with an interdisciplinary team at MSU to explore concepts which build an entrepreneurial mindset focused on venture creation. MSU faculty will provide mentoring through an interactive open educational resource (OER) entrepreneurship education curriculum. These materials are being developed in an online learning environment, openly licensed to suit the needs of educators and learners. The next phase will encompass the eNET certificate which offers guidance on the launch of new ventures. Students can learn how to create a new venture, explore financial backing to help get their idea started, use a mentoring team for incubating their new idea, and move through the steps necessary to take their idea to commercial or non-profit status.
